And as soon as she gets in the ring, the smile fades and she’s all business.  It’s a great look for her.  Female Eugene is an insane thing to think about her “character”.

Yes, please.  Trish was awful in season 2.  I hope they don’t try to redeem her.

It’s about a letter from Steven Spielberg.

Personally, I smile when I see the words “vloggers die” in just about any headline.

Going out on a limb and saying they probably weren’t wonderful people.

Rise of the Green Light Babies isn’t an unusual title if you, yanno...watched the show.

There are FAR more straight romances and thus, more happy endings, so it’s extraordinarily ignorant to say “straight people have tragic deaths, too”.

Cue thousands of idiots saying Deadspin is obsessed with Barstool and Clay Travis and Brett Favre dick pics.

What a vile human being Portnoy is.  I wonder if at this point he’s just daring Nardini to try and get rid of him.

Feinstein doesn’t vote for Trump policies a majority of the time.

Not really. Polls are fairly accurate much of the time. And no one has figured out anything better than Nielsen for all the gripes about it. You should look at some remedial statistics pages to get a better idea of what’s going on.  You seem to misunderstand how polling and Nielsen work.

Lol. Shows are renewed or cancelled based on Nielsen ratings and billions of dollars are spent based on them.  They aren’t bullshit.

Nah, it’s not speculation, it’s reality. Why do you think the B99 move came about so quickly? It’s a numbers game. The loudest fan base doesn’t necessarily win.

Useless, useless, useless. B99 moved to NBC, which already produces the show and can throw on some more eps to sell in syndication. The decision to pick it up after Fox cancelled it was likely made before any tweets were even sent. The Expanse shopped to Amazon, who kicked the tires because the numbers work for them.

It’s a world where there are tons of options, too many great shows to watch, and great movies are there if you just make a cursory effort to find them. They call this fantasy world “Reality”.

I can walk less than a mile from my house and go see Won’t You Be My Neighbor, RBG, or First Reformed. I can drive to the same multiplex showing sequels and reboots tonight and check out Hearts Beat Loud. The dearth of new ideas is a fiction.

No, they don’t. They really on traditional metrics, like Nielsen ratings when deciding to bring a show over from broadcast. They only want you to think your tweets matter. Everything Sucks! had a lot of people tweeting about it after cancellation. Want to guess why it stayed canceled? Because they didn’t care, they

No, financial numbers are the only thing. People don’t make decisions based on tweets.  Reed Hastings doesn’t fire up the ol’ tweet deck and search hashtags to take the temperature.

It matters not a lick. Shows with enthusiastic fanbases get cancelled and stay cancelled all the time and streaming doesn’t come to the rescue. They just want you to think your voice matters. Unless you have a nielsen box, they don’t care what you tweet about.

The Maltese Falcon was adapted twice before the classic with Humphrey Bogart.  This era you pin for where Hollywood didn’t recycle ideas does not exist.
