Also from Argentina.
You’d think it would work great for an adventure game- you can get pretty trippy and it makes it really easy to tell a story
I was thinking that it would be so cool if games could take advantage of the rich history of magical realism in Latin American literature, but maybe the genres are too far apart, or maybe the creative processes (huge studio versus individual) are too different.
What about culture from a few centuries ago?
What about making a game out of El Eternauta? It’s about aliens that obviously represent something else, but you can still sell it as just being about aliens
If what a self-identified Chinese fan said elsewhere is right, this is not about Zelda, but about the company behind this game being a copycat when they had the mettle to make a fully original IP.
Man, SonicFox was a fantastic sport about it as well. Cheered him on and everything after the match. That’s the kind of sportsmanship we need in all big tournaments!
Found it:
Unsurprisingly the top comment and general theme here is “censorship: bad,” rather than “empathy: good.”
I would be curious to see an off-shoot of this study that attempts to measure how the sexualization of female characters impacts the cis-male gamer. Does looking at and playing as overly sexualized females change how real-life women are viewed?
Yep! I’m playing it on my iPad Air
TBH, as an Argentinian, what counts as ‘good service’ abroad feels super invasive to me. I mean, a lot of places do have bad service, but it’s also that culturally we have different expectations.
Mike, YES!
This is really sad. If anyone out there reading this is in crisis, please, I know it seems impossible, but reach out to someone, anyone, before you do anything drastic.
It’s not just Kyoto, I feel so many tourists who visit, even if they don’t know the customs of another country, don’t seem to understand how to comply with even the most basic of common human decencies. The poppy fields in Lake Elsinore, damages to Machu Picchu, the Dali painting in Yekaterinburg, etc. No, you can NOT…
Now that’s some good commenting.
I’m a woman. Even with medium-sized boobs, the simple act of running can be painful. It makes no sense for Tifa’s big tits to be unrestrained and flopping all over the place while she’s doing martial arts and other athletic activities.
I really like this. I never play my Switch in handheld mode because it’s just not that comfortable. The joycons always felt like they were designed for their tiny compact form factor and not to be a good actual controller both separately and joined together. This might be a little clunkier, but I bet it feels better…
My inner child says “Yeah!!!!”. My outer adult says: “Nope.”
Who the heck has 15 friends?
