When I was in middle school, I participated in a basketball camp with his son in Minneapolis. Flip was just there as a dad watching but was the current T-Wolves head coach (it was the late 90’s) so everyone knew who he was.
RIP Flip’s Friday Funkadelic. Loved that he shared his insights with us and gave so much to the sport, players, and community.

I never thought anything of Flip until I moved to Minnesota. He is loved by this city, and he was on the verge of bringing the T-Wolves out of the darkness for the second time in his career.
