I’d say the female fan base is going to vary dependant upon country. The UK, for example, wouldn’t be probably higher than Aussies in terms of female fan base. I’ve been to many Motorsports events in the UK and the there is always a strong female presence.

F1 has a sizeable female fan base. Did NFL do the same? Cheerleaders are exactly the same as grid girls but with less clothing and more pompoms. I don’t see why NFL should get a pass because it currently has a large female fanbase. I doubt that was the case when cheerleaders were brought in.

I disagree, things have changed at most races. The worst offenders seem to be in the Far East and the US.
