Had one preordered. Then I watched the trainwreck of a pressconference. Found out that bacially it’s a system for Zelda for 9 months until Mario comes out. No mention on virtual console. I figured if I wanted it I would get it when Mario comes out. Feels like they have rushed the release of this and was suppose to

I’ve been critically thinking about Nintendo, and the impending Switch launch, a lot lately.

Specifically, I’ve been thinking a lot about why Nintendo, and almost exclusively Nintendo, can get away with telling their customers basically nothing and millions will still blindly follow them without a second thought.

Let’s

sounds like someone is tryin’ reeeeeeeal hard to keep the bad thoughts away.

waiting for the 50% price drop in less than 6 months

That logic is stupid, it’s like saying we should just buy a TV when all we know is that you can watch TV on it. It’s 2017, consumers need to be able to compare a product to the compition and know which product is the better choice. You need information to make an informed decision.

I’m going to guess it’ll fail.

Lets also be clear, keys bought with stolen credit cards can end up on there, which means the developer got paid, but is likely going to lose that money and have to pay the chargeback fee.

They’re not mutually exclusive issues. You can be against a company of scammers, and curse regional pricing and regional locks

So your credit card is stolen, the person who steals it goes to local game store and buys 100 copies of call of warfare. He posts those keys on G2A and sells them for 3,000 schmeckles. You report your credit card as stolen and local game store is hit with 6,000 schmeckles of chargebacks.

Ofcourse, console without good games is no console at all. But for me the Namco games have never been that interesting. It’s the Resident Evil, Final Fantasy 7, God of War and Metal Gear Solid.

Then that is a very uneducated gut reaction. Play the game, watch a youtube video of it. It’s more like Resident Evil 1 then RE4-6 were.

This game feels way more like a classic Resi than 4, 5 and 6 did. I think you might be doing yourself a disservice if that’s the only reason.

“technophobes”

Uh, everyone? Like constantly?

I’d love to give you the whole explanation on jurisdiction, but this is Federal not State Court (also the case was tried in Dallas, so you tend to get a more “sophisticated” jury, not that ass backwards court in McKinney where patent vultures base their offices). So whatever ass backwards assumptions you’re making,

Yes, that is how parent companies work. Parent companies generally exist for both legal protection reasons and to preserve the brands of other companies.

im gonna assume you followed the case closer than i did, but i did see zuckerberg’s sassy testimony (out of context snippets) and it made them look pretty bad. kind of like he didn’t give a fuck either way. not a good way to win over the average juror from anywhere.

Alright. Take a moment to yourself. Calm down.
