I understand that. But io9 has had, from the beginning, this strong rhetoric that if you don’t like Star Wars, you’re a bigot. That’s what I’m against.

Obi-wan’s like... THE Jedi.

You know, that reminds me of one of my many, many, many problems with X3: The Last Stand. I wanted so badly for Juggernaut to come face to face with the power-cancelling kid and still be powered up. The others would freak out and he’d say that he’s something entirely different. No answers, just make it a cool

Part of it is on the corporate executives behind Star Wars. They really, really played up the nostalgic aspects of Star Wars, when marketing TFA. You can’t treat the franchise as something special, and then also get mad at fans when they hold it to that same standard. Star Wars is closer to something like Lord of the

Holy Crap! I didn’t know anyone had ever seen this film! It was in the theaters, all of two weeks!

And then everything comes to life and Wonder Woman, Ben Stiller, and Teddy Roosevelt have to keep it all from escaping the museum.

I don’t see the Ewan McGregor rumor being that weird. Force Ghost Kenobi would be kind of a logical element for Episode IX. Wait, I can picture it now...

Prior to Rebels, if you haven’t seen it, check out Filoni’s Clone Wars series. That, coupled with Rebels, is the most pure Star Wars stuff I’ve seen since Jedi back in ‘83.

Maybe they should make a film about Sith Lords getting stuck in a shopping center on Coruscant. I personally would love to see Maulrats.

Flash: Smart people need to stop being so damn stupid. I don’t understand how all of the super smart people on this show can be so stupid all the time. I know some of it is just to move the plot along but if your plot constantly relies on your smart characters being idiots then you need to come up with a better plot

one other problem is that as usual....People who dislike something are now being painted as being the same as the iddiotic racists and sexists that trolled this actress on twitter.

The Star Wars franchise is ideally positioned to seamlessly include people of every background. (Far moreso than, say - a period drama about Scotland in the Middle Ages.)

I think the reboot movie was actually hurt by how good its cast was. They had a lot of talent and they wanted to use it, but nobody wants to watch the teen drama parts of Power Rangers, they just want to see some damn Power Rangers and Zords. The movie’s heart was in the right place, but it just didn’t deliver enough

So, if you had any problem with Star Wars 1-3 it was that they spent too little time on the tax system and infrastructure problems?

That’s the worse part, TLJ betrayed the original movie, that is unforgivable, it’s a watchable movie but it isn’t the Empire clone it wants to be, or is hailed as.

It’s not so much them helping against Thanos, but helping regular New Yorkers escape the battle, and maybe some fights with Thanosian foot soldiers.

The survivors decide to leave Zihuatanejo for greener pastures in the synopsis for the season finale—and possibly series finale—of The Last Man on Earth.

Yeah, but it was us old fans who kept the franchise alive for the new ones during the 80’s and 90’s when no one else was into it. People seem to have no appreciation for that.

After the train wreck that was Apocalypse, I have zero desire to the Dark Phoenix. I hold Days of Future Past in VERY high regard and Apoc completely derailed any excitement I once held in the franchise.

Look, at this point Marvel’s built up so much good will that this could just be 2+ hours of them smashing their toys together and honestly that’s all I want from it.
