I initially read the headline as 'Wachowski siblings come out as a trans woman'.

Have they tried eastern Europe?
The music when they were escaping the temple was pretty great. The soundtrack seems to work better when it's more minimalist.
Not buying unless there's a Jon Stewart cameo as Herman Cain.
Screw you, buddy!
That's not true, we got the Harlem Globetrotters a couple times! But now that I live in Montreal I simply choose not to go see cool stuff, (in that I have no money.)
So I guess 'North American tour' now just means a single stop in Canada.
Yeah, but I still probably wouldn't consider it a morally grey area. If there were a load of prisoners on the Death Star when it exploded, then we might be getting somewhere.
"Having Star Wars pick-and-choose when to talk about the rebellion’s monstrosities, really, is an exercise in frustration (ie, how many people died in the Death Star explosion, for example)." Really?! I think the one instance in which a mass killing is permissible, (if not called for), is if you're mass killing mass…
That's exactly what I thought! The first draft of the script must have had Wedge at least for the former scene; Poe's re-emergence there seemed really odd. I image J.J. got off the phone with Lawson, then immediately calls up Oscar Isaac and says "You're not going to die".
ok; this seems to make more sense. So there should be over 1000 chances for nomination overall, I think?
Agreed; but if 14 of the 88 best actor awards went to black people and only 10% of the US population is black, (the academy is pretty American) this doesn't really seem to highlight any statistical problem. Unless the 14 awards were spread across the acting categories, but the article doesn't seem to imply that
Yeah; I don't think we should get in the habit of reacting to what we presume will be other people's reaction. I mean, It's the internet, so I'm sure you could dig around a bit and find ugly opinions about anything, but we probably shouldn't do it for the thrill of feeling morally superior.
"Dear Die Hard, you rock, especially when that guy was on the roof."
Haha! His first name is the same as his character's first name. Clever.
Teti's really classing up GJ,I!, but I do hope his mother shares her findings as well.
Yeah, it's probably just phrasing. I actually knew someone (who wasn't a native english speaker) that liked to shorten the word 'Japan' just for the sake of shortening it. I told her she probably shouldn't.
I find it a bit suspect that one of the people accusing Nintendo of racism seem to be calling them 'the Japanese'. Putting 'the' in front of any ethnicity automatically sounds kind of racist.
If I was interviewing Mark Ruffalo on feminism I would insist on him showing me his tits.
That's probably why they asked the question
