I saw the dub this Friday, it seemed fine to me and I didn't get that weird jarring thing I do when George Clooney (or whoever) is voicing a Japanese teenager. It really is a beautiful movie and the music worked well too.

Very first episode is closest to being a dud, also maybe the improv ones aren't for everyone. The rest (starting with the 2nd ep!) are great all the way through though.
