The theatre I saw it in was alternating the dubbed and the subbed (I went with my 11 year old daughter and the timing worked out better for the dub, but it was fine). And it's a big chain theatre here in Canada (Cineplex).

I saw the dub this Friday, it seemed fine to me and I didn't get that weird jarring thing I do when George Clooney (or whoever) is voicing a Japanese teenager. It really is a beautiful movie and the music worked well too.

No, it was an engagement ring.

So that they could make more money off of the license…so basically, all greed.

I'd think May would have remembered if she was Peter's mom — I can see the dad not being sure but if there's two women and you're not sure which one gave birth…that doesn't really work.

He could ride some flying fish.

Spider-Manhattan would be a way better name for it than Spider Island.

One time when I told someone that I didn't drink, he was boggled because he immediately assumed it meant I could never have sex, either. (We were both pretty young back then so I hope he's had some sober sex since.)

Now I really want to hear Johnny Gilbert saying "This iiiiiiss Sex Jeopardy!"

Garry, will you marry Barry? That's probably why it took them so long.

Ah. I don't drink. And I'm pretty sure I've seen women on TV named Coke, like a morning show hostess or something.

I swear this is the first time I ever heard of "The Watch", which is really weird because I'm also just binging "The IT Crowd".

Huh? The comic is great. Remains to be seen what they'll do to the show but it could be good.

If you're not with her anymore, you should take the 'and Coke' off your profile name here. (Unless she's Zach and you're Coke).

"doing with his wife" — Freudian slip?

Well he's in Star Wars, not Star Trek — of course he's gornless.

I was going to ask how old your kids are — even I've caught up on "Buffy" by now. (but two of mine are college age)

(even later) best part of the cable joke was the turtle, trapped on his back.

Fellow Canadian — you are so right about 'Boston Pizza'.

Very first episode is closest to being a dud, also maybe the improv ones aren't for everyone. The rest (starting with the 2nd ep!) are great all the way through though.
