Sonic food is gross but some of the drinks are pretty good.

King is definitely better at getting the details that make characters come to life. I read The Fireman and I really enjoyed it, but afterwards I read a review that pointed out the main character is kind of a cipher with a few character quirks hung on her and it is definitely true.
