Holy shit, did not expect to see Walter come up in this review, he’s a regular hometown hero around these parts (Just wrapped up a 4 week class he put on at the arts center in Arvada and looking forward to the next one he’ doing in January). He’s also the perfect person to pull a quote from for this game.

And you put

I won’t spoil it for anyone who hasn’t played it or seen it, but that musical number is the greatest, most joyful things I’ve seen in a piece of media in many years. That scene alone single-handedly justified the entire game. The rest of AW2 is pretty great too. It's refreshing how much that made AW1 a kind of

i try to be open-minded about the young people’s music, even if it’s to recognize that this music is not made for me or my age group.

Sounds like every other rap song (I call them rap-naps because they’re monotonous and dull), besot by auto-tune and featuring the same subject matter: “I’m famous, powerful and have all of the shit.” Form does follow function because it’s broing and he sounds utterly bored.

I honestly don’t think I have previously heard anything by Drake (at least not that I know of), but was interested to hear the copying from PSB. Didn’t actually make it to the pilfered lines because that song is just awful. I’m not gonna go with “is that what the kids call music” old-man rant, but that song was utter s

TV Show: “Hey, gay people exist!”

“pushing her social agenda”

It only alienates the intolerant.

Another right wing lie! 👍

Worth headline ever!

So glad I never bothered finding out who she was or anything about her

How about just a note reading that Kang died on his way to his home universe?

Love that the NX-01 crew finally got a shout-out. It was always Captain Archer that got name dropped.

Great episode, the moment where Christine realized that her relationship with Spock doesn’t even make it to a historical footnote was genuinely touching. “History needs him to be the exact opposite of what you need him to be in a relationship” is hard to hear.

Can we talk about the mural in the style of the series animation? And how I’m not ashamed to admit it gave me literal goosebumps?

The word is bearish. Bullish means you support. And who the fuck is Dickson?

Nevertheless, all the white-knuckling in the world couldn’t stop Dickson from hopping a plane to London to argue what is and isn’t on-brand for his blonde plaything

The first couple of seasons really didn’t bother me, but part of that might have been because I’d just come straight off Clone Wars, and that really was some rough going at the start. Plus I blitzed the whole show in about three weeks, so if there was a weaker episode it wasn’t like I was waiting for the next one.

Seems like this is basically a direct follow-up to Rebels. Which works for me.

Dear god, this was the worst episode in the worst season of what is, on its best day, a middling series.
