Historical AND sci-fi reference, me likey!

Joe Westworld

Curt Schilling just DM’ed Drake that he can borrow his ‘97 Ford Thunderbird anytime he’s in town.

very cool we live with millions of fucking lunatics who think shit like this

If his grouping is like his strike zone, we have nothing to worry about. Dude’s a storm trooper.

“In reality, during 2006 and 2007, the two years that Lo Duca played for the New York Mets with Billy Wagner, Joe West was the home plate umpire for a game between the Philadelphia Phillies and the Mets only once, Billy Wagner did not pitch at all, and the game ended on a home run, not on called strikes.”

My buddy’s old roommate used to date a guy who looked exactly like Lo Duca to the point where that became his nickname.

Between the garbage autoplay ads and the even trashier Taboola clickbait below the comments, the only way to read these websites these days is disabling everything and enabling reader mode for mobile (chrome://flags/#enable-reader-mode).

I just want to read one article without having to mute “Hey Lauren, I like your top.” If I wanted to watch Kinja video content, I’d unmute the video, or click on the original links (the Punjabi-Canadian hockey story was excellent video journalism just btw). Auto-play audio is fucking annoying, no matter what site is

Too many auto-playing ads.

They make you pay for Lobster!

Jameis said the craziest thing about playing in London is that you assault Uber drivers on the other side of the road!

I’m so glad you replied to Rick! For every issue one can think of with living in a camper, there’s a solution. What’s more, those who choose to live that kind of lifestyle tend to be the creative type anyway, and creativity goes a LONG way in building a fulfilling nonconventional life.

I’m incredibly proud of my takes.

No black tank. No propane. Electric fridge. Can easily fill water from gas station gallon jugs if absolutely necessary. Will always have two spare 6-gallon water jugs for drinking.

We’re WAY up on our house, and will chuck six figures into savings with the sale. If things go south we have plenty of friends and family

trailer life is great when you know you have non trailer life to fall back on. If you don’t, well, it doesn’t reduce your stress, which is why you see many of these rather overpriced tiny teardrop and retro restored trailers for sale used. Unless you’re the type who has no problems filling your tank with water stolen

Good stuff, man. Not a lot of people get a second chance at this “life” thing. Glad to see you’re planing to make the most of it. Happy and safe travels!

I similarly had a life-threatening experience, though a little older at 41. I stopped work, and haven’t returned for 3 years and have no plans to. I lost all sense of the future and gained more than just global wanderlust, I picked up the RV bug.

Started with a T@B, which is a 16' both more modern and larger than the

I hope you get everything out of this adventure that you’re looking for, and maybe a few things you’re not. Afterall, it’s the surprises that are usually the best thing about a trip. I could never be happy living like that but that doesn’t mean you won’t be. Bon voyage!
