Well there is the fact that his father told Trump not to use his son as a political prop.

First of all, fuck Van Jones for slathering over an embarrassing piece of emotional theatre. I am done with him unless he walks that back.

This is the messed up thing about politics, most people (the media included) are more concerned about the emotions and actions in a speech as opposed to what the actual content is. Most people vote with their emotions and with the “party” they side with as opposed to what policy is actually better for them.

I felt the exploitation of the widow and his smirking at the length of the ovation was reprehensible. Her husband’s body is still warm and Trump has her up as a political prop. Disgusting.

He only sounded mature because he didn’t write it. Let’s stop giving him credit for knowing how to read.

This how bullies work. They beat you down so far you just want it to end. So that when they show any whisper of a hint of relenting or improving their behavior you are so grateful. But they don’t stop. They’ll never stop.

After getting through 17 minutes of it before needing to turn it off, I’m still obsessed with wondering who wrote that useless speech that promised nothing specific at all (except to bankrupt the government).

In the meantime, his dad probably chucked a shoe at the TV. That’s going to be one chilly thanksgiving for those poor people.

My issue isn’t with giving her that platform. What happened to her husband is a tragedy, and she should get more attention. My issue is with Van Jones describing Trump’s comments as a historic moment, or what makes Trump presidential.

I said this on another thread, but Ill repeat it here:

Where are you gleaning that logic from?

The Bills PR staff is high-fiving over the fact that Polian got through the whole speech without saying “uppity”.

Harrison, Lewis, TO, and Moss should of course all very obviously be in. The point was that it’s the height of hypocrisy to lobby for an actual murderer to get in while simultaneously lobbying against people whose biggest crime was...being rude, occasionally.

I mean I’m not disagreeing with you on intangibles, I’m sure TO wasn’t pleasant to have in the locker room (although I’d argue it’s been INCREDIBLY overblown by the media).

2nd all time in yards, 3rd all time in TD. He could be locker room AIDS, never mind cancer. He belongs in the HOF. End of story.

I think he’s right. You’ve got to think about how they’ll affect the roster. Is T.O. going to get on the same page with Johnny U, or is he going to start running the wrong routes and drawing taunting penalties? Honestly, I see the HOF squad going 12-4, maybe 13-3, and then getting upset at home in the divisional

Trump’s special counselor and couch-warmer Kellyanne Conway was “romantically linked to Senator Fred Thompson” the film’s star, once upon a time.)

As a white Christian, I agree with this 100%. Most Evangelicals, in my opinion, are people who like to use Christianity as an excuse to be the biggest possible dicks they can to their fellow human beings. And they’re mostly white.

The be even more specific, it’s white evangelicals. They don’t break down these approval ratings into specific religious categories, but, if you look at the exit polling from the election, it was white evangelicals that supported Trump at the highest rate. 83% of white evangelicals voted for him, which is a higher
