Could be... the Koenig in 1931 certainly learned that something was coming and wanted to play a part. Though, the “guy behind the bar who kept the peace” certainly sounds like he could have been Enoch.

Or the next generation of Koenigs are twins and THEY are Gemini.
I think 60s Coulson is just Coulson. I don’t think he even changes his suit.
Enoch and May... when the Chronicom shows more range in emotions than you do, something weird is happening.
In the first episode of the season, Coulson said that before S.H.I.E.L.D. there was a. SSR safehouse in an old speakeasy. The password was “swordfish” and there was a fellow who worked the bar who kept the peace, who went by the name “Gemini”.
That’s what I was thinking even before the coda scene. He’s got plenty of experience waiting.
Well, actually she DOESN’T know how he feels about her. Mostly everyone else seems to (and she should probably be told about that Framework simulation of her in the game cause that’s a lot of yikes) but Deke never divulged how he felt to her personally.
I mean if you’re going to rip off any broadcast superhero show now, you best rip off the best (team Legends). I do hope it ends with them forming a giant Lockheed and taking out the bad guys
So was De Caestecker filming another movie and had to sit out the first few episodes again? I’m sure that happened in seasons 5 and 6 as wel.
Gotta say, I love that the end of the episode referenced the whole “are the Koenig siblings actually robots?” thing. It was a minor aspect of the early days that I kinda missed.
May is my favorite character. I love that it is unclear if she is a zombie, suffering surgical or time travel side-effects, or is just sort of belligerent and uncommunicative, which since she is her is I think most likely.
That is one thing I have liked about this show from the beginning. They don’t torture us with dramatic irony. It’s only usually like one episode we have to sit on it and it pays off. Instead of certain other shows which drag it out soooo long the payoff isn’t even enjoyable.
Also her not aging, but that seems to be more a superpower of Ming-Na Wen than of Melinda May
But I truly can’t wait for swinging ‘60s Coulson! (& Daisy of course! Hell Go-Go boots Daisy, Jemma, Yo-Yo, & May will definitely be way too much to handle.)
So, Enoch is just gonna have to catch up with the team the long way around, right? They could pull the same stunt with Coulson now, and who knows, maybe others who are secretly similar.
I was not happy at all when Daisy told Deke, “Take the shot.” It was completely unfair of her to ask that of him, especially knowing how he feels about her.
Give me a spinoff with Enoch and Koenig now!
“You can add this installment to the small list of S.H.I.E.L.D. episodes that don’t feature a single use of powers.”
One thing about this show, and I hope I’m not jinxing it, is that they have a pretty good barometer that knows when the audience is getting frustrated with the withheld information. The show withholds it ... but usually comes clean at a decent pace. Especially when they have a lot of material to get through. If we as…
Enoch’s Immortal, he can just wait and meet up with them at the next jump point. For now he can be best buds with Koenig and make cocktails for the next however many years.
