If they brought back that original continental with a modern drivetrain, suspension, and stuff like airbags and proper seatbelts, I bet you they would sell boatloads of them. That's one of the few classic american cars I actually would love to have.

If it is designed in size to compete with anything other than a 7-series, S-Class or Lexus LS, its all wrong and Lincoln doesn't actually know their brand. The Continental needs to be a luxury car in the truest sense... It is not a sport sedan. I've mentioned this plenty of times in multiple comments but I believe the

With all the effort I see Cadillac putting forth, Lincoln is such a disappointment. FYI - This remark is coming from a Ford guy that dislikes GM.

It's about damn time Lincoln got off of its lazy Ford-disguising ass. Come on, Lincoln. You see that dot way off in the distance? Yeah, that's Cadillac. And it got there sideways and in a cloud of tire smoke.

You hit someone, you're fired. I wish more people understood that. If I deck someone at my office, I expect to be 1.) arrested, and 2.) fired.

It is indeed a Zamboni, the likes of which ran over and killed my uncle Louie, years ago, in Newfoundland, whilst he was ice fishing.

A nascar v8 is no slouch. if i remember correctly from the stolen Nascar story a few weeks ago, they were around 100 K a piece.

This brings up an interesting question that I have always had about big displacement, pushrod V8s compared to all the other configurations. If you can make this car's engine, or one of GM's LS, or Dodge's Hemi engines perform on the level of more complicated and high strung engines like the LFA's V10, Ferrari's V8s,

Why isn't Toyota making an affordable version of this. V8 is fine. V6 Turbo (or twin turbo, or turbo-hybrid a la F1) is finer.

I don't know why everyone is worried about stability when the damn thing will probably blow up its transmission within an hour of first use, like the race car version does.

I hope these ideas aren't distracting them from the fact that they really, really need to find a more reliable gearbox for the racecar.

Putting a retro front clip on a modern body is always risky, but this works amazingly well. It could be done as an aftermarket custom kit, if Mopar or someone else really wants to. Like those Rebel Yell Roadster kits they made for the TJ, only this time, not terrible.

I'm not even paying attention to all these fucking amazing Jeep concepts anymore because they never build them. Fuckem.

I'm curious to see what they come up with. I get the hand controls but how are they going to fit his massive balls?

world champion. Indy 500 winner. Champ car champion.... Kart company owner. General badass. Noting the obscure fact that Alex is missing material on his body below the knees is like noting that a great white shark has a hole on his dorsal fin. He's still the best damn eating machine on the planet and Alex is

This guy is the shit...I hope we can get some in-depth coverage on how those hand-controls will work. I would love to geek out on that.

I love that this sort of technology is being used. Growing up my dad's racing partner was a paraplegic and so they had the crazy idea to throw hand controls in some little volkswagens using ATV steering controls and a VW beetle semi auto. They did pretty good for a good while there, even got a championship trophy one

This would be Olympic Gold Medallist Alex Zinardi, just to add to his accomplishments. The picture was taken at the London Paralympics.
