I suspect that the majority of these are a misplaced decimal. Drop the last 2 zeros on the price and sanity might possibly be within tenuous grasp

Well, ya see, when the guy got into the water and sand, he pulled out his Qualcomm phone to call for help and......
I agree. The LS series Lexus is the best I have ever owned. I still have the 93 LS400 I bought 10 years old (for $7,000) and it now has 335,000 on it. I now use it as my company car (my own consultancy) and got a '02 LS430 for my wife. Oil changes (occasional brakes & tires) and that's it for maintenance required…
Asshats at car shows:
It said Camaro for me. I was expecting Lexus (what I now drive - a LS430) Don't like the fat-ass look of the new Camaro, would rather walk/take the bus than drive another BMW or Audi (have owned both - hate them equally)
For something TOTALLY different - try an older car - but one that looks cool, and has high reliability and resale
And the difference between THIS series and NASCAR is what again?
When the flames on the exhausts turn green, that is aluminum being burned as the engine is consuming itself under the sheer, brutal forces and temperatures being produced.
One of the many reasons why I am SOOOO glad I'm Canadian. Zero cost to see the doctor. Zero. Zip. NADA. Zilch. Call doctor's office, tell receptionist I'm coming in, arrive, doctor sees me,. No cost to me. No requirement to 'work X many hours per week"- in fact no requirement to be employed at all!
Sorry Kat - I call shenanigans! I don't see how he/she could be pulling (by hand) the rubber off/out of the treads. If it was all pre-cut by machine, it wouldn't come out in continuous strips like that. The part where they "re-groove" the sipes individually is possibly more realistic, but the radially-removal of…
A soft suspension has an unfortunate result: You're expending/using/wasting power to compress the rear springs and to lift the front. Ideally, you want to use ALL the power for forward motion/acceleration, not for spring compression and lifting weight. A well-set up car may lift slightly. but stay level side to side…
I'd rather have the Civic (a lot fewer trips by public transit!)
The interesting thing is that it was likely cheaper for the 7 paying pax (plus 2 crew) to charter the Lear than to pay econo seats on a sched Check it out - I often found that the "break-even point" could be as low as 3 people, or as high as 12 - depending on any number of things like Sched flight prices, etc
What did Will do to get mocked at?
Well - let's see. I can't renew my Reggie until it is fixed and the dealer says it will be 6 months until it's fixed! (I'm REALLY gonna enjoy the dealer/manufacturer-supplied loaner for the next 6 months! No insurance costs, no maintenance costs. Just put gas in it & go!).
I hate, despise and loathe ALL German cars (As well as French cars, Italian cars and all Swedish cars, etc.) All European cars in fact! I've owned Porchie, Oddy -Audi and VW as well as a Vulva. My dad had a Merc, my wife had a Saab. I (once upon a time) owned a Jag and an MG. I have driven (not owned) Renault,…
According to THIS schedule, the CW Trucks and the Sprint cars are all on track @ Martinsville, all at once!
I had a drive of 67 miles each way for 15 years. After going through a several Accords, 3 Civics, a couple of Audis one Bimmer and numerous other rides, my ultimate choice was a used and abused Suzuki Sidekick, vintage 1989, which I taught to dance through traffic no matter what the weather was like. Best commuter…
EVERY SINGLE Honda-badged product owes its existence to the C-1oo Honda Cub (AKA Honda 50) - and how many other products had a song about them?
I-5 30 miles North of "Lost Wages"??? Ahem?
