Most Halo encounters have you observe the map before engaging. Sword Base is unique in that it has you fighting uphill, so you don’t really know what’s ahead and where the enemies are positioned. Likewise, the way the AI works in conjunction with the mission, you’ll have enemies show up in various locations they might

Actually not a fan of some of the looks of the smoke. (And I guess I can’t really fool myself into accepting the bulletsponge hero as much as I could a long time ago. Though Uncharted never successfully drew me in either.)

One might even say it’s turning around 360 degrees and walking away.

I’m tired most of people saying this is okay since to them “Most characters in Japanese manga don’t look Japanese.” Which is stupid because the Japanese see anime characters as being Japanese. It is Americans who think they are white. Because to them white is the Default Human Being.

Except there are no guarantees they’ll go that route only. The ps4/x1 can do 60 fps games. Except they don’t usually because they want to push out the shiniest and newest looking games.

Ha, hahahaha.

Bleh. I just got my ps4 a year ago and now it’s going to be an inferior version? I get early adopters loose out on minor enhancements but that seems a lot more then minor at least they are forcing games to be backwards compatible.

On a gameboy it was annoying but at least it was like 50 bucs if i traded in my old one

Yes, and the internet outrage machine is a double-edged sword. We cheer when someone over on Gawker highlights some random smuck we’ve never heard of before on twitter saying something really stupid and then they’re fired from their job and their life is ruined...but then decry the toxic culture when the machine is

I can’t think of a superhero movie that “2-hour long trailer for their next movie” describes better than Age of Ultron... Marvel might be on top but that doesn’t automatically make all of their movies amazing by any stretch.

Marvel’s movies have their own issues, and plenty of them. It’s really easy to just pretend there’s never been a standalone Hulk movie, though. Or that Age of Ultron had any stakes, since Infinity Wars was already confirmed ahead of its release.

Too Late To Edit Addition: I’m not going to engage in the specific people but for all the deservedly grey comments out there whining about her college paper, I will simply say this:

White folk see them as white. Asian folk see them as Asian. We project our sense of default personhood.

Still an ugly-ass game, especially compared to what they did with XII and XIII previously. Almost the pinnacle pixel work.

The criticism of Marvel’s house style is more or less on point. But it seems absurd to level the criticism that everything is too funny when Christopher Nolan’s Batman movies brooded their way to a giant haul of cash at around the same time that the Marvel approach came together. BvS is not daring to be different;

His point of view is fuck them for ditching him. Which is fair.

You know, I was always under there impression that Konami wanted Sutherland and not there other way around. I honestly thought that there was hardly any work involved in Sutherland’s voice acting (I think Snake was one of the least talkative main characters in the game).

But you can’t criticise Kojima because he’s this site’s Senpai.

Super lightning kiiiiiiiiick!

@SeraphsWitness: And it seems someone has missed the point of the entire argument. Of course you don't think of white as the default when you 'objectively analysed' it. That isn't the point. The argument being made here is that it is the subconscious norm accepted plan as white in America, or as Japanese in Japan
