This is even more off topic, though Juan Peron’s political clique, the Peronists, or their ideology of Peronism more broadly probably could not be identified as “fascist”, even though they did cover and offer sanctuary for many deposed fascist leaders, military officers, etc., (granted, the same could be certainly

and other upcoming games like ... well I’m sure they’ve got more games in the works. Maybe some of that Halo or Forza.

Aside from being mildly annoyed at the Twitter user who cut off Reiko Mikami on the white board featuring her portrayals (thank you to the Japanese user for the better photograph), this hit me harder than I would’ve expected. Thank you for your work, Ms. Tsuru, you’ll be very missed.

That’s true, the F/A-18 could still have that issue (in terms of balancing and interoperability).

The F-14A/B module has powerful, powerful appeal to the Ace Combat fan in me, though in truth I’d be more excited for something more radical like a MiG-31 module, or maybe the overdue Mi-24/35 module. Still, I’m looking forward to the Tomcat more than the Hornet.

It goes without saying that DCS has been an amazing flight sim for many years now, but the F/A-18 module is a welcome addition.

Though obviously there’s more complexity in play, I’ve heard an apt description from people alive at the time that I do believe: “Japan was a kind of a hellhole in the 1950s.” The foreign military occupation had very recently concluded (which are generally very unpleasant experiences to put it mildly), with the large

It’s not a bad deal (though admittedly, there are a lot of terrible ~$70 laser printers out there, armies of them, and you can tell why they cost $70), but aside from color printing (which isn’t crucial but is nice), I really couldn’t do without a non-terrible feeding scanner (or no scanner for all). I honestly use my

Well, there are people working in the automobile industry who build their own cars as well—nothing wrong with that either. But I’m not one of the people whose pride insisted I build my own car, I drive a Honda Civic that was made in Osaka. :)

That depends, have you tested them for defective components? ;)

That’s fine. I think just ordering parts off Newegg or Amazon is putting too much trust in the manufacturers not to catch defects and incompatibility—especially when you can have the seller do it and skip a time consuming REM process. At least way, when a part goes wrong, it takes hours and not weeks.

Yeah, it’s nice to hear it’s still a terrible part of the process. The pins alone are a reason why even a cheapskate like me will pay a respectable amount to have a retailer test and assemble my ordered parts so I don’t have too (and potentially catch things like a PSU).

Haha, I remember the highway overpass that used to be near this.

What benefits do you get from the firmware flash, if you mind me asking? I’ve had a T-Mobile branded Ac1900 for a year or so now, and while I like its signal strength, etc., I find the onboard software to be lacking (I especially want a portal option for the guest network, like Linksys routers usually have).

Though it may not be as preferable as hand-me-downs, gifting, etc., consoles are generally fairly ideal for online reselling, most obviously eBay. Relative to their worth, most consoles are generally quite profitable to sell and ship within your home country and even internationally if a suitable program exists, and

Were solid state drives actually cheaper in 2015/2016? They certainly didn’t seem so, at least in my memory—they were just smaller and slower overall. I had to look into replacing one of my two SSDs (both failed in a 3 year period, a Crucial M4 and a Samsung 850 Pro—reliability still needs work), and I don’t remember

Funny story: I paid NCIX US $40 on top of the price-matched cost for all the individual parts of my current PC (so I actually saved more than that off NewEgg, though I prefer Amazon.com personally). For $40, they took all my parts, put them together (in a professional manner), installed my OS, ran some basic tests,

Ah...no TIE Fighter (PC, via GOG*)? You skipped on the best overall space combat experience combined with a strong, interesting narrative (better than Rogue Squadron 3D, which would still not be ab ad choice).

A new TIE Fighter would be nice, very, very nice. But I suppose the singleplayer focus on being a dogmatically loyal Imperial pilot navigating tricky politics and infighting (along with destroying Rebel ships and stopping Alliance benefactors in regional civil wars) might be considered undesirable for Star Wars games
