The enemy AI in singleplayer can be repetitive (then again, so can playing against humans), but there’s a real singleplayer, with cinematics, lots of small “quests” (sort of), and walls of dialog text to read from various characters.

Aside from the fact that a lot of phones get dumb looking cases completely independent of Qi charging, I think it’s more aimed at people who have it built into their phones. After having tried it with a Nokia Lumia in the past, it was a feature I looked for on my current Android phone.

I could be mistaken...but aren’t “valve caps” just little dust and dirt protectors? Removing them, by themselves, won’t actually cause the tires to deflate.

Better the chase mechanic—even if it wore thin with repetition—than the god-awful attempt at a “realistic” plot line. I had no interest in AC7 until it was clear that Namco learned their lesson from Tom Clancy’s Call of Airplane Duty: Russian Invasionfield and was returning to Strangerealm where they made the likes of…
Huh, I knew the game launched buggy on PC (what else is new), but I had no idea they were still an issue.
You know I didn’t have that option two hours later, right? :P
God, that’s terrible—correcting myself “—aside of my own (mostly male) circle of gaming friends, most of the other Dead or Alive fans (both actively playing, or just interested for making art or cosplay purposes) [I’ve met] are women rather than men.”
Part of me isn’t that surprised by this—aside of my own (mostly male) circle of gaming friends, most of the other Dead or Alive fans (both actively playing, or just interested for making art or cosplay purposes) are women rather than men. The fact that the “pro” fighting game scene deeply intimidates me might have…
Owning the Logitech KBAM set this mouse is included in, I will say you have to recharge the battery somewhat frequently (compared to 2 battery mice). Still, it’s a great set.

Another vote for TIE Fighter as the best Star Wars game—both for gameplay, and having a fairly rare aspect of the mythos for its plotline.
Yeah—the gap was almost laughably huge for certain titles. Which isn’t to say there weren’t gorgeous PS2 titles, there were, but they were a lot...easier?...to come by on Xbox (where even launch games had complex shading and lighting effects, like Wreckless: The Yakuza Missions). It’s most obvious for the handful of…
A pretty comprehensive list I mostly agree with, but a humble suggestion of Dead or Alive 3—a console exclusive, an extremely polished game that, while not perfectly balanced by any means, was very easy to pick up, probably the best looking 3D fighter on the market when it came out (thanks to the console’s power), and…
If you miss this deal—keep looking at eBay. They will periodically come for $300 to $350 in individual buy-it-now deals, new. I saw one for $280, but that was a rarity.

Quite possibly. And Nintendo’s offering in that area is part of that sordid legacy.
I like Halo 5. It’s by no means perfect, but I found the singleplayer experience a lot of fun—overall better than Reach, but that’s just my opinion. It’s not without its problems by any means, like too many Warden fights (what is this, that stupid roulette mode from Devil May Cry 4?), the story’s often ill-designed…
Doh. I just got 24 months for 85.00 on eBay! Well, even I cheapskate like me won’t lose much sleep over $2.50....

I know, right? He’s one of the same rich warmongering oligarchs (see: the Pakistani drone program, using cluster bombs in Yemen, bombing the Syrian military—and those are just the ones he didn’t inherit from his warlovin’ predecessor), he’s certainly not less intelligent than any of them (if anything he’s more), and…
Certainly strong suggestions, Cecilia, but I have to object to two Satoshi Kon films without the inclusion of Millennium Actress, the ultimate feel-good film and certainly a very strong addition to his library of work. Unlike Paprika (which is not without merits), it’s a film for everyone—or close to it—and that…
For a second I thought we might have the first Star Wars game with a singleplayer story experience from the perspective of the Empire since....wow, when did Balance of Power come out? 1997?
Haha, get in line Italy. Not only have we in Taiwan banned Uber across the whole of the Republic of China, they’ve ignored our ban for months until we ratcheted the fines on Uber (and drivers, whom Uber pays for) to an intolerable level. Then again, when you operate a ridesharing service, but insist you’re only…
