I don’t disagree with your logic—with an age-gap provision because kids are gonna fuck (duh)but the age of consent is 16 in thirty states. It’s 17 in eight states and 18 in twelve states.

Yuuup. The justice system can barely figure out withdrawing consent in a normal, non-kink context (with a lot of fellow women telling me that’s not a thing I’m allowed to do if I go out with a guy ever), I don’t trust any of those fuckers to consider kink-related situations with any of the kindness required.

Too many people (terrible people) believe that if you agree to have sex with a man at all, anything that happens next is consentual, regardless of whether it was discussed before hand or whether you agreed to that specific act at any point.

I am livid at the amount of people that believe consenting at all means consenting to everything/anything.

She was old enough to consent to have sex but she wasn’t a legal adult, which means any contract she signed has no validity. Wonder how that would have played out in court but I don’t begrudge her not wanting to go.

I mean, the reason for not buying the canned chopped or crushed tomatoes is because they don’t break down as much as canned whole tomatoes when you cook them, so it’s more about how the ingredient behaves than about the fact that it’s prepared.

Samesies. There’s also the fact that if I wasn’t doing the cooking for me and my partner, I would pretty much just eat pure trash. When I lived alone, it was mostly coffee and bagged salads and anything you can make in a microwave. I don’t care enough about myself to feed myself well if it’s just me.

Please tell me your secrets for boiling eggs that don’t stick to the shells when you peel them. I’ve tried fresh eggs and old eggs, salting the water and adding baking soda, rolling boil for a few minutes and steaming for longer—and then half the egg goes in the trash stuck to the shells.

I know, right?

If your mom is 70, you almost certainly didn’t get the chicken pox vaccine. I’m 35 and they didn’t have that vaccine until I was out of high school (and by then I’d had the virus). Most adults aren’t even offered since so many of us got it as kids.

I asked today at Walmart (everyone please stop judging me, they have the cheap insulin there and I can’t afford better). They quoted me $87.90 for MMR.

Wait, God says not to cause the body any damage because it’s a gift from Him and the response is to refuse an almost painless jab in favor of risking a potentially deadly disease that can easily infect others?

Are lines at the bathroom still a thing? I remember that being a big deal back when I was a kid and the bathrooms only had like 8 stalls, but the theater where I am now (a small, rural town) has a bathroom that easily has 50 stalls and I’ve never had to wait except once when 4 shows all let out at once. Never had an

[SPOILER CONTINUED]

The part that isn’t a thing is the part where the doctors conspire with the mothers to murder a living baby.

I don’t think he has to word it carefully. Remember that rally where someone who opposed him showed up and he told the crowd to kick that guy’s ass and he’d pay the legal fees? Yeah, nothing happened except a bunch of people who saw the footage later got really, really uncomfortable.

Did you read the linked thread that explains what he was conflating?

I’ve seen Craigslist posts offering like $50/person to show up for this nonsense. They give you a hat and a sign and everything, all you have to do is react on cue and whoop like a yokel. (I don’t know whether it was real or some kind of “prank” but it’s either a thing that happened or a key part of an attempted

Are you talking about the vaginal ultrasound thing? Because those are definitely used as part of getting a medication abortion/abortion pills/before 10 weeks. The size of the embryo makes a difference because the pills don’t work if it’s too far along and an embryo is too small to see with an external wand.

I worked as a supervisor* and trust me when I say we hate that at least as much as you do and corporate still makes us say it, no matter what.
