i think arthas’s story would’ve been a much better idea. more focused, little to no world building needed, or atleast it’s more easily implied.
Heres what i suspect lead this movie down a bad road, purely speculating. Too many cooks in the kitchen (blizz riding the filmmakers too much for brand authenticity). Biting off more than they could chew. Not understanding what works in a game might not work on screen.
I totally agree about the importance of creative people performing a bias check during their process. It helps break out of those tired old boxes and make something truly great.
someone smarter can correct me im sure, but ip addresses are maybe tracked...?
short answer: it’s an inherited drawing mistake.
man, i couldn’t agree more. The magic word for me is CONTEXT. “playing volleyball in a bikini” uh duh.... “undertaking a dangerous quest where death/injury is certain, give me a sec while i equip my chainmail pasties” just no.
great piece. I agree for the most part. It’s a party, dancers are very justifiable. For me it’s the school girl outfit as well, it’s just plain wrong.
im glad you posted these, i’ve always felt oda had the most variety in his characters, men and women.(not just in body type, but age as well)
my issues isn’t with the dancers, i get it, you want to create a party atmosphere, so you hire some dancers. It’s the whole school girl thing, that needs to go away, it’s just plain gross.
