This looks to me like someone had a white fill layer in the shape of the model, and it both got accidentally bumped up and around a bunch of pixels (hence the misaligned crotch, and the armpit triangle) and also was loosely lassoed or magic wanded. That part's different. Although when I look at that and the crotch disaster, I wonder if the white cutout layer simply got bumped up 50 pixels or so. It seems like it'd line up better if both areas were dragged down a touch.

You nailed it: it's the stance and shearing away. Stand up, and let your arm fall like hers. It actually ends up at the same length as hers, the masking just made the arm unnaturally skinny so it feels long.
