I believe Blizzard has successfully sued in similar situations, taking down mod producers and such. A little closer of a comparison than game genie.

While way over simplified, sunlight does help with depression and moods in people. No its more than likely not going to help people who are clinically depressed or have other issues tying into their depression but there is some truth to that.

Exactly...I like Kratos being a violent dickhead, why play the games if you don’t even like the main character’s personality. There are plenty of games that do the same type of action/gameplay but have different lead characters.

As long as they are given same size character models that don’t fuck with the way the game is played ala Gears of war then it shouldn’t matter. Surprising they didn’t have them from the start.

Yea...it definitely wasn’t great. The mechanics were interesting, the one liners were ok but they came often enough and repeated enough to be irritating, and the story was...I don’t really remember it so probably not great.

I enjoyed the beta quite a bit, but knowing that it was going to go against Overwatch I didn’t purchase. While the games are almost completely different other than being Hero Shooters, there was just too much similarity for Gearbox to take on the behemoth coming from Blizzard.

The original bulletstorm was good enough, but I only bought it because you got early access to the GOW3 beta...

Well...the way the proposal was written it would have prevented that, but now as it stands, they’re selling “faceless” data, but nothing prevents them from putting a name to it. There’s now nothing stopping them from doing that if they so choose to.
