Part of their job is basically watching trailers of all the latest games...

Both CD Project Red and Bioware started their development as full-sized, fully developed game studios.

Games that started development in 2012:

You just need one (1) user to suggest a place before it appear. Sometimes it takes time because Google want to validate your suggestion, sometimes it’s almost instant.

Thanks

Where is the gif from? YouTube doesn't allow me to watch it...

rePool: I can’t help but feel like I’ve had this argument with you on Spectrum before [...]

I agree, it is bullshit.

Both developers are burning through piles of money that aren’t theirs. Both are pushing their release dates.

Anthem has a full release date.

rePool: Are we working our way towards a “You don’t understand development” line?

  • No one ever complains about Anthem’s unreasonable long development time (The same as Star Citizen’s unreasonable long development time ).

rePool: The closest idea we have to project completion is a simple google search if you cared to look. A tracker even CIG gave a thumbs up to at some point on Spectrum. https://starcitizentracker.github.io/

rePool: Could you kindly let me know who carries that risk if it doesn’t release?

No one ever complains about Anthem, despite that the only thing they ever managed to produce is a series of non-interactive technical video demonstrations. Both games have been in development for the same amount of time.

Hasn’t Garry’s Mod been around for almost 15 years? 15000 maps seems like a really low number for user-supplied content.

We’re a four-person company OUTSIDE the EU and we have still spent about $4000 in man-hours trying to adapt to the stupid GDPR law.
