I try to tell this to my 9 year old daughter who refers to the Downton Abbey as "Nothing Happens". She hates when I watch it!

Ignore those rumblings. It's still got the feel of Downton, which nothing else can replace.

No need to feel embarrassed! I've made these kind of "mistakes" with mixed raced people plenty of times. And really, are they mistakes? Kinda depends on how the people themselves identify with their racial background, as well as how society perceives them. Fuck the one drop rule.

My daughter's "weirdo" name did not make the list either, but I'm rather pleased about it. So many times you hear people say they thought they were choosing a unique name, only to find it on "Top 100 Baby Names!" lists and such in the next couple years. We actually managed to buck the trends!

There is one exception to the rule that Torontonians don't visit local tourist sites. When we have international visitors we ALWAYS go to the CN Tower and Niagara Falls.

Sometimes I feel like he makes these type of public appearances just to play with us! Or, you know, because he's a human being and probably likes to get out of the house every once in a while.

I found with the time difference, I could usually watch new episodes by the same time of day they would have aired in the UK! I love living in the future.

I've had old lady looking hands since forever! (I'm 30 now) They are knuckle-y, vein-y, dry and calloused. I'm over it.
