I usually never read these fashion show reviews, because it's not really my thing. But when I saw the headline I thought "Yes! That's my look!" I never knew what to call it before. And it is the look I've been trying to go for all these years. Just, you know, at Value Village prices.
Stupid difinitely/definately. Gets me every time.
They take official portraits of the First Lady? Why? It's not a political office.
Um, there are no purple people. This little actress is a child AS WELL AS being black. Looking at this through a racial lens is totally appropriate.
People used to always think my partner and I looked like siblings. It's not the worst thing, and it doesn't really happen now that we're older.
I remember when I was pregnant (with my one and only child) and freaking out when I saw a woman walk by pushing triplets in a stroller. It just had not occured to me up til then that multiples could have been a (terrifying!) possibility! I can't imagine four at once, I hope they have a lot of help.
It makes me really sad to read this, it must be really crap to feel how you feel. You say you don't know if that will ever change, so maybe that means you still feel some sense of hope that it will? If you're in the US, you might try calling 1-800-SUICIDE or 1-800-273-TALK. I just looked those up, as I'm in Canada.…
This kid knew how to handle it.
I've never heard "babymoon" used in the context or a trip before. When I've heard the word it has referred to the time immediately after a baby's birth when the mother/parents spend time focused on baby, bonding & recovering. This is admittedly only uttered by my hippy-dippy doula friends, but I thought it was…
I remember thinking this guy was really cool when he ran a (half?) marathon in Toronto a couple years ago and it was all over the local news. Now I like him even better.
In Canada (I think the American terms differ slightly) it is referred to as a Developmental Disorder, as well as part of the Autism spectrum.
It's pretty normal. I work in social services, and I see a lot of my clients go through several rounds of treatment/recovery/relapse before they maintain their sobriety for a longer period of time.
Yes!
Glad I wasn't the only one. I was starting to wonder at all the haters in here...
I get that Will Smith is just trying to be funny, but come on man. He should go read his wife's book "Girls Hold Up This World"
30A, so complete other end of the spectrum, same aversion to strapless. Nothing to hold it up!
Sounds like the day I had a salesperson LAUGH IN MY FACE when I said I wanted a basic phone with a pay-as-you-go plan.
I have a fond memory of watching the movie of Eating Chicken Soup with Rice at the public library on a rainy day when I was a kid. I had no idea that was Maurice Sendak! Gotta track down the book now.
I will never get over my love of ROCKSTAR Courtney Love. But "real person" Courtney Love hurts my heart and offends my senses.
