Yep, I was hoping for more of an Indiana-Jones-explore-the-world kind of vibe to these movies, rather than the grimdark, claustrophobic mess we got.

You’re completely right, the initial promise of finding fantastic beasts was a neat idea to spin off the world without doing the same thing before... And somehow it's devolved into four sequels of an endless Pensieve memory of two main characters (neither of them Newt!) of whom we know what happens to them

when the first one was announced my reaction was basically “how could they possibly adapt a school text book into a full length movie!?” but then I had the idea “what if the movie is all about the adventures that Newt went on that lead him to write the text book and taught him the information contained within it that

Yeah, even the first one barely spent any time with each creature and just ran around the whole time. It would have been better to have it like Jurassic Park where the focus was on how cool a specific animal was

I couldn’t be bothered seeing any of the movies, but yeah, it kinda seems like that’s what they should be about? Both because it would match the in-universe magic creature textbook/tie-in material that it was based on, and because the day-to-day life in the world of Harry Potter was always much more engaging to me than

You hit the nail! Potter already did the “world ending” story. This had potential to spare... as far more lighthearted fare- yet still compelling. Oh well. These will go the way of the Hobbit films as far as I’m concerned. Inferior prequals to a beloved series.

Perhaps Grindelwald and Dumbledore are the “fantastic beasts”, and they are finding each other.

That’s what I thought back when this franchise was first announced. Being a nerdy farm boy, I thought a series about a magizoologist was tailor made for my interests. But instead of British wizarding Steve Irwin, we got this really awkward bloke with a suitcase menagerie who has become some sort of secret agent who

Watch the video, I didn’t think it was bad in the screen shot, but the video seems pretty obvious he was doing it then laughing after.

It would be a shame if that was the end of his career at 15.

I am Russian, I am from Russia and I stand by my country”.

It’s not brilliant at all and never was. It’s the idiotic gotcha that doesn’t really work. There are free or very cheap apps and programs that can adjust the audio enough to dodge the AI if needed. This is one of those stupid meme things that probably got shared in a bunch of secret cop facebook groups without an

Sir, you're in the public square.

the public square”

The extremely key distinction here.  Come on.

Same thing on my Google TV. The newest episodes of Halo and Moon Knight right next to each other. Anything I search for tells me where I can watch it. It looks pretty similar to the header image.

I’m confused about the ‘Apple and Google couldn’t’ part. Unless I’m missing something on those services but after reading through what Plex added sounds a lot like Apple and Google. I just checked the Apple TV app on my phone and my watchlist is comprised of all my streaming services. I can also see where each movie

Revive the game? It would be nice to have I guess but even as someone that actually really enjoyed the game (played before the recent patch even, there really is a good game under the mess), I feel fairly done. Maybe when/if significant DLC comes out, but not really the base game again.

Yeah but what if it’s disappointing like SSX On Tour and SSX 2012?

They did make new SSX games, and they weren’t good.
