here's my setup, Short hold volume up to change to the next song, and the opposite for previous, press both for pause, press home button at home screen to open the iPod app. (I never use spotlight anyway.)

that's part of how OS X handles files. the OS uses it for reference or something. OS X (and I believe Linux) know to hide them by default, but because windows uses a different file system, it doesn't. They're useless, so you can just delete them.

forget the migration assistant, check that interface! aqua is all but GONE!

there is this new version of firefox called chrome that is super fast. it's so much better than the mozilla firefox and SOOO much better than the regular firefox.

somebody should perform this experiment while showing testers this video. that'll throw ya for a loop.

I pin my dock to the left side, use a terminal command to keep it pinned to the top. then I use Mirage Dock to make the background of the dock completely transparent, then I use geektool to display an image as the background, and have bowtie in the bottom corner. it saves a TON of room on my screen.
