WestAllen has already been confirmed as the endgame and Barry/Patty is only going to be shortlived relationship. Besides, now that she knows that Barry is the Flash she should get more screen time and be much more well-written.

Joe was safe for Season 1. Season 2, all bets are off, and I could Joe being offed in that season.

They should have told her in episode 5, "Plastique," when they were trying to stop her from blogging about the Flash. That would have been the ONLY thing that would have stopped her from blogging about the Flash.

I am still of the opinion the writers began to start sinking Lauriver when around Season 1 subtly and much more explicitly in Season 2.

Andrew Kreisberg said they are sticking to comic canon for The Flash, so I don't see that changing anytime soon.
