I don't see how it distracted them from dealing with Grodd.

"I also didn't quite like how Joe basically shat on Oliver to prove his point to Barry. He's got more than his fair share of flaws but Oliver's come a long way from his murderdeathkill days and busts his a** for his city just as much (if not more than) as Barry does."
"I've read interviews with the Arrow/Flash team, and they're basically not fans of the secret identity concept."
They didn't have this problem when Harrison Wells was around.
I think that now that she knows that Barry is the Flash, she'll get other things to do.
I agree witth this 100%.
In all fairness, there was a gorilla on the loose and she needed to help them, so she couldn't display complete anger at them for the whole day. I'm still sure she still has some level of anger at them, but she will eventually come around.
Big difference: Oliver revealed to Thea his secret identity on his own volition and at that point Oliver had saved her life twice as the Arrow and had saved the city at least once and a bunch of other people too. I sort of predicted that this would be her reaction. Thea was not acting out of character.
Let's see:
Actually as Iris said, they lied to her and that was a big betrayal of trust, REGARDLESS of their good intentions.
"As for her not immediately going into the Arrow's less heroic deeds in season one, it was neither the time and place."
In all fairness, Thea was saved by the Arrow twice and I don't think she cared that much, if so she would have told Roy to not follow after a guy who killed lots of people in Season 1.
In all fairness, I think she had already compartmentalized all that by accepting the notion that she didn't have anyone who she could trust, anyone who really cared about her… and then you have Malcolm, who for all his unforgivable faults was willing to protect her and more importantly teach her how to protect herself…
And looky, looky, I was right.
It should be obvious: wipe out all humans so that Gorillas can take their place. It should be a no-brainer. Maybe they can use time travel or alternate reality to give Grodd as the main villain in Season 2 as well as Solovar and Gorilla City.
Well we know he is going to stop the black hole. If he doesn't there's no story.
I hope that is the case. So Eobard can still exist while Eddie can remain dead. It'll probably be like Malcolm Merlyn on Arrow. We think he is dead, but he turns up alive in early Season 2.
I have had enough villainous speedsters for a season. How about we have Gorilla Grodd as the main antagonist of Season 2?
If it means Eddie has to come back into existence then no thanks. I need Iris to stay single for at least half of Season 2 and get her own story line apart from her love life before her and Barry become an item.
"That is why you should wait for the finale before you judge a TV show. "The Flash" had a great first season, but "Arrow" s1 ended on a much stronger episode, because it actually ended. "
