While I completely agree with the article, I don’t agree with the title. I would argue many of the post credit scenes matter and matter just as much as this (any of the ones with Thanos, Bucky-Capt-Falcon after Ant-Man, etc).

Speaking as a teacher, I somehow think both things are true.

Maybe someone already said this but I read about 15 comments and decided “meh, I’ll just answer anyway”

Because it’s a standalone movie. It’s the “Empire Strikes Back” of the Avengers. Yes, you have to have a background of the universe to really get full enjoyment from the movie but it isn’t necessary to understand

One that is supposed to seduce men. So Mercenary Chef’s point is rather valid

As a special education teacher, this is one of the few times I think we actually don’t have enough information to make a judgement. Teachers and other staff might cover for another teacher but students at that age say what they saw, mostly. Plus, it was the superintendent, not principal, reviewing the tapes and flat

I too wonder why this tweet isn’t included. Everywhere else I have seen this reported has all the tweets. Seems odd this is the article that leaves it out.

In the end, Dragon Ball Super was really about how one person can change enough people to make a better existence. People can change and if you put your trust in them, they can surprise you.

It’s not so much confidence as it is intelligence. I have turned down promotions in my line of work before for several reasons. Sometimes, the person hiring had a different view of what the position was supposed to be doing vs the vision I had. Or because I thought doing the job how they wanted would lead me to fail.

“The feeling I had when I won the fight with my bare hands is just absolutely the best feeling,” he said. “I’ve played all the sports, won big games, landed some decent tricks on my snowboard. This was better.”

I realize, given that’s it IT, that your snark is reasonable. But as a coach, sometimes, that kind of fight CAN be good. Not saying this one is but that kind of passion is shows they care. And given IT’s reticence to play D (I don’t know much about Randle), it could be they genuinely are glad he at least cares enough

You are 100% right. “Senior Citizen Jedi Pension-Plan Future Force-Ghost Luke” is a bad ass and it’s a great thing that’s what kids know. Because OT Luke was a whiny and annoying punk. I have never been so irritated by a protagonist as much as OT Luke, even as a kid. I cheered for him but only in the sense of “you

I humbly accept the role of Boring Pedantic Rules Explainer No One Really Cares About

Obviously. This is America. If you ain’t first, you’re last.*

Problem is Ben Simmons can’t shoot so he either has to have the ball or his defender clogs the lane. If he has the ball, the LeBron doesn’t. And Embiid is only shooting 33%. If Simmons can shoot from 3 or Embiid gets better, it can work but not with their skill sets now.

Counter Argument....ZaZa does not block many shots nor does he make many layups while guarded by any player, let alone a good one. He barely makes the open ones.

Genuine question though....how has Arrow messed up? Sarah Lance has been handled well. Nyssa....wasn’t necessarily but I also just didn’t like Nyssa. Curtis’s husband leaving him because of a dangerous lifestyle makes sense. Maybe it needed to be built more but makes sense. And Curtis decided the mission is a higher

Arrow hasn’t been great with it except for Sarah Lance but Legends of Tomorrow has. Example: The most recent episode had some great separate characterizations of different sexuality without making any of them feel cheap.

I cannot describe how much I love this run. That fight scene with Talia, the conversations with the Gentle Man and Lois....just so good.

SPOILER IF YOU WERE ACTUALLY GONNA READ THE ISSUES AND HAVEN’T OR ARE WAITING ON TPB-Yes but it also comes to the conclusion that, while Bruce and Diana would be awesome together, Bruce and Selina is just a little better.

I used to be all in a Diana-Bruce but Tom King has done such an incredible making the Batman-Catwoman pairing work that I shifted. Seriously. His run in Rebirth, from the Bane arc to now, has been amazing in my opinion.
