If there is a list for weirdest Spanish horror movies, I recommend Pieces. It’s mainly just two hours of really shoddy policework. My favorite is when a teacher has to explain to the police that the bloody chainsaw by the body was probably the weapon used.

I don’t think Fringe ever got bad, but I also think it’s final season wasn’t as strong as season 3’s parallel universes and season 4’s battle against William Bell. But I thought it’s finale was really uplifting and full of cool sci-fi ideas, too.

Watch that last season again. Basically every episode is a crew member’s family member coming to visit.

Well, I guess it’s obvious but Buffy ended well after its latter seasons didn’t hit the highs of seasons 2-3.

Now playing

The four-minute long continuous fight scene in Tom Yum Goong is pretty impressive.

Why does it list Justin Roiland’s credit as Co-Creator of Robot Chicken. I’m pretty sure he’s never worked on that show.

Smaller eyes.

I mean, isn’t Suicide Squad at least a genre movie if not outright sci-fi? He’s doing that so I doubt he’s been scared away from the genre.

Considering Picard’s intensity, even a Janitor would be a tough job.

I think it’s worth noting that the color was done by Mark Englert, best known these days for his limited edition prints. Heavy Metal had their pick of any colorist in comics today to work on the last unpublished Jack Kirby artwork and they chose Englert. That’s huge.

I’m with you Charlie Jane. I loved those first five years. And appreciated some of the episodes since then. But this finale really had all the stuff I’m sick of all in one. Ideas we’ve seen done before. Castiel being generally useless but still hanging around. Crowley not at all intimidating as the King of Hell. Brand

Just because the zombie apocalypse went down within 4 weeks in Atlanta through DC doesn’t necessarily mean the rest of the world fell apart as fast. By setting the show in L.A., they can really play with things however they want. Maybe the military and government hold things together a little better for some reason.

The reason Luke's voiceover is in the present tense is it is literally his speech to Leia in the Ewok village.

I think Leviathan is still a powerful threat even if we only are dealing with Ivchenko and Dottie. It's pretty clear that Leviathan is a Soviet spy organization so they have big resources at their disposal.

Amanda Pays will be on the show tomorrow night as a scientist. She was the co-lead on the 90s tv version and also played a scientist that helped Flash learn how to use his powers.

I loved it. I thought they'd gone as far as they could with meta stuff after "The French Mistake" but this worked very well as a commentary on the show. It was totally appropriate to do that for the 200th episode. As a long-time fan, I really like that it basically acknowledged the first five years were the canon and

Tempting.

He looks like Dan Harmon now.
