Someone pointed this out in one of the Ghosn articles, but it really blows my mind when you go back in time and see how stunning and cool Nissan (and Datsun obviously) used to be.
Yup, it’s great for people who can truly afford the car and were planning to buy one soon anyway. It’s still $550 per month if you’re financing $40k, though... and you’ll still be paying that in year 6 on a 5-year-old car with 75k miles.
Quite the contrary, most are wonderful people who are great people leaders. The few get the majority of news coverage.
We are lucky enough to get them here in australia. The thing is there are so many good sporty options these days it’s easy to forget the swift.
Thankfully the car talks for itself -every time a journalist reviews one they gush about its abilities.
I didn’t know any of this until I read these two articles. While I find it interesting, I can already see people who don’t like the Supra “because Toyota should have built their own car” using this as more fuel. I think it’s fine, because the alternative is having no Supra at all

The Good news (GN) and Bad News (BN)
It would be a $60k car likely, and no one would buy it.
This is one of the topics I could read about for ever, and still walk away with no real solution. From my perspective (35ish), the nature of ones career(s) plays a HUGE part in it. In my mid to late 20s I was killing myself (really) trying to move up the ladder. By my 30s, like most of my friends, I started putting…
“Welcome to ‘name all the cars’! A show where you name all the cars that are, have been and ever were!”
When David Tracy offers to buy it.
You sound.... Racist.
Really? This is the first time you realized formula one drivers are overwhelmingly white?
