Putting aside the possibility that this guy is just a world-class idiot (always a very real possibility in a situation like this), I’d say there are a couple things to consider here:

The Miata got a 26hp bump. If Subaru added 26hp to the BRZ, people would just say they didn’t do enough, while people didn’t complain much about 155hp in the Miata...

I’m hoping they’re smart enough to never offer it with big power.

My dealer has also tried to convince me to trade my Focus in on an Ecosport. I

Ever read The Limit? Great book about Phil Hill. One of America’s all-time greatest racing drivers, and he grew up super modest and got into driving by being a racing mechanic first. You’d never see that happen today.

While i agree that 2 hands are better. 1 hand is good enough in most situations, I have swerved for a big rig tire flying final destination style over the center median into my lane and didnt move my other hand to the wheel as I didnt have time. I even got in e bit of a drift from the sudden maneuver and caught it. Pro
