Corruption.  I have nothing else to say.

At what point are people going to realize that bikeshars/scootershare startups dockless or not are just a money grab of venture and municipal seed funds? They’re not going to ever be successful, despite their promises of “democratized mobility” and “green urban transportation alternatives”. They’re *supposed* to fail

Because Canadian beer is exactly as bad as American beer ;)

Wish you could Make America 2014 Again, right ?

Alternate headlines:

“So, you going to deal or not? I’m ready to buy, man!” “Excuse me a moment.” He checks the camera footage and comes back, “What’s going on here? You trying to rip me off?” “Umm....ha..hah? It’s a joke!” So the “joke” shop threatens the guy they were trying to scam, and then refuses to take calls or answer emails.

Wait...you’re making me side with a car dealer?

I was waiting for this, it was my first thought, even just yesterday there was an old lady in an 86 behind me.

Yeah this is easily the best option suggested. Some of the other cars people have suggested are overpowered for her needs and look pretty bland comparatively, this would definitely have the “old lady in a sports car” look that she’s aiming for.

One of the first times I saw an FRS in the wild, a well dressed couple easily in their 70s got into it after a performance at the symphony.  I believe she was driving.  My surprised reaction was “good for them.”

That’s a pretty good idea. I was thinking Abarth 500, but this has to be right up there with it.

Much agreement!

This is easy; Subaru BRZ. It hits price point, looks great, isn’t too fast (definitely no worries there), and will definitely throw people for a look if they see a 79yo lady get out of it. I know of a few older women in the Chicagoland/eastern central IL area that drive them actually. Only ding against it might be

My brother ordered a bright blue Corolla hatch with a stick. I’m so proud of him.

Fear not Raphael, the next generation will have more car knowledge than any before it. The next generation has Mack.

The most I could make the 2019 Ranger Lariat SuperCrew 4x4 cost: $46,385.

That is why it is only famous as a third-hand used car that is cheap enough to chew up and spit out in drift training, and buy another one.

You really don’t find that car beautiful? I mean, that particular example is a bit splounched thanks to the tiny wheels and the stance and the paint and everything, but I think it’s a clean and lovely design, especially for a cheap commuter car.

It is basic. It’s a rear-wheel drive box with seats and a steering wheel.
