Wow, you really, really misunderstood my point.

You realize the person you say you “agree” with called you a jackhole before you even posted right?

One small correction Bradley. He was never a motorsports hero.

My Jeeps are art. They increase property values. Proven fact.

Everyone talks about how you should “just buy winter tires” around these parts (SE MI), but I never really “got it” until I finally did it.

Every car I’ve ever driven or owned slides around, at least a little, and has ABS/traction control (if equipped) kick in in the snow...with all weather/summer tires (ugh, summer

Without getting into the detailed numbers (cause I don’t know them), my intent was saying that “stance” should be stock....unless you track the car all the time.

Every Summer v. Winter tire test seems to either be on ice, or dry pavement.

We get moody and elitist for a reason. Winter.

To be fair, he picked the *only* scenario (and specific conditions) where a summer/all season is better for your safety than winter tires in freezing temps.

Seriously, have you any functioning eyeballs?!

Kinja’d. Now you just look like you’re talking about Hitler on an article about drifting.

You raise good questions that I don’t have answers to. My main issue is where do we stop? Do beautiful women in bikinis prevent other women from enjoying a nice beach day with their families? If so shouldn’t we ban bikinis so everyone feels welcome? I just can’t get on board with telling women what jobs they are

He’s wrong because he’s a backmarker? Would you reverse your opinion if he were a championship contender?

Devils advocate here. My friend Liz is a professional model, motorsport enthusiast and owns a killer RX-7. She actually looks forward to the F1 and MotoGP race at COTA in which she is a grid girl.

Why is it stereotypical that girls that choose to model are looked down upon by the very women that should support them?

Bring back the Nordschleife.

I can’t go tomorrow but I guess they are showing it this week and next where I am so I’m shooting for then

Chicago Region does have a great solo group. A lot of those guys run with TSSCC, WAI, and Milwaukee Region as well. I don’t do much Solo II anymore, mostly just HPDE. Don’t really enjoy it as much as I used to, but I still show up on occasion just because it’s such a damn good time.

Came here to post something similar. The “regulars” at HPDE events are some of the friendliest and most helpful people I’ve met. Everyone seems to want to make sure that the people that show up keep showing up. Lot of people helping complete strangers when their shit breaks. I think a lot of it is that people

SCCA Regions vastly vary, but most at least have a pretty solid baseline of support. However, which activity the region seems to favor ultimately decides. Some regions are balanced, some are all about Solo, some all about road racing, etc.

South Bend Region is my home region, Central Carolinas is my current region,
