When was hbo rumored to be working on this? I was on the team originally pitching this to Netflix back in 2018, and hbo wasn’t something we were pursuing (they may have rejected, but i’m not aware of it at least)

same. like - turn off your high beams. or turn on your headlights. or move the f over.
just because you’ve raced doesn’t mean you have car control. money gets you entry. the one you listed shows he placed last in his class.
you absolutely can eat clams (akagai/hokkigai, mirugai) and scallop (hotate) raw. why is the food focus squared in on western norms only?
right but by becoming a development driver, she pursued a seat, just never made it. i’m just pointing out that she did indeed pursue a seat.
i thought they pre-ordered 2 seasons
she was a development driver for williams, and participated on the weekend of a silverstone race
and powered by saleen
they’ve always revealed that the car sits on the same “modified” platform as the 370z. unless major changes are made, it would never be light/flickable. the 240z comparisons were simply as a throwback styling. if nissan wanted light and flickable, they would have actually brought the idx to life.
it never really was light and flickable in the 350/370 iterations. miata (and the 86 twins) were much better for that style of driving.
the 13's that have are magnesium. probably not aluminum even in the new sizes
so in what way are they controversial? the two new directors are well respected
also monkfish liver
The biggest thing you forget is that the pay is abysmally low. If they were paid something that was equivalent to time spent away from everything + high pressure job, then this would work out. Mechanics make $40-60K, engineers make a bunch more (like electrical systems etc) but not mind blowing salaries.
you’d be surprised. not counting the ‘perks’ of travel, mechanics make $40-60K. Engineers make a bunch more, but the staff really aren’t paid THAT much more than what you’d find elsewhere.
wait, so yeah this goes after RV generators. but it sounds like it goes after low powered go karts as well?
interestingly, it’s not the first time Hyundai worked with Lotus. Lotus also tuned Hyundai’s Scoupe. And Kia’s Soul.
huh weird. i just set up a new phone and i was able to transfer from authenticator from pixel to oneplus no problem.
Agree that Lauda is one of the best of all time, but not nearly the GOAT. Agree on his impact on F1 as a business and as a safety advocate. And was personable when i had the chance to chat with him so i liked the dude.
so WHO do you consider GOAT? since that’s only 1 person. let’s hold each driver to the same standard.
