Did you.... did you not read the blog? I even specifically referenced that post. You think this is amateur hour? You think this is a GAME?
I think everyone with a modicum of knowledge about ww2 aircraft development is aware of the Zero fighter’s later shortcomings. However in the early phase of the war it was indeed a superb fighter. The Allies had several advantages in all theatres of war.
I had a 2008 Subaru Legacy 2.5GT spec.B for about 5 years. It was tuned and made 270ish whp and 300+lb-ft of torque at the ground. Also had competent suspension including Hotchkis Sways and Eibach springs. The car was a riot to drive and would shock most people who just assumed it was a slow 2.5i auto. I had to put…
Why did I hand the position back? It’s a track day, not a race. I have to lift and the other guy didn’t, I don’t want to ruin his lap and fun. I felt bad when I cut someone off into turn five only to lift a little later and gave him a point by too. I’m just having fun, not out there to ruin anyone else’s.
Hey everyone! I’m the lucky driver being overtaken by the S2K! I got one of the first cars from McLaren and didn’t waste time putting some miles on it. Before I had to leave the US I put 1600 miles on the car road tripping it from Monterey to LA and back and to SF and back to Monterey. Then I did the double track day…
While the pluckiness and self-aware nature of the S2000 is amusing to me, the real hero is the McLaren Senna owner who is ACTUALLY tracking his car instead of placing it inside their sealed garage with a more sophisticated HVAC system than most laboratories.

This isn’t actually relevant to this story, but 9 years ago this very night I got the call that they had a new liver for me. I love reading stories about organ donors, even if I can’t help the tears.
Rolling private sex den. Not unlike a 1970's Chevy van with shag carpet.
Yeah I couldn’t wait to speak highly of it on the internet but never buy one.
I thought the chart on this page of historical circulation revenue an. advertising revenue was really interesting. During the 60s when (I assume) newspapers were pretty healthy, circulation revenue was about half of advertising revenue (so roughly a third of total). But then advertising revenue skyrocketed up to the…
Truck manufacturers keep obsessing over 1 to 3 mpg increases, who cares? Hybrids should be able to deliver 10 to 30 mpg increases.
If it really gets an extra 2 mpg city in the real world, then this is a good thing. Time will tell whether this just boosts the epa sticker or whether it is a real world improvement.
“Think of it this way, they’re not punishing people for driving a competition vehicle, they’re just rewarding those that buy the products they make.”
