A family friend has an 89 ZR-1 just like that one. He rarely drives it, but he did take me for a drive in it years ago when I was 17. What an incredible experience. Compared to the 87 Starion I had at the time it was a damned rocket ship! 

I'd have to disagree simply because if you run a trail while it's muddy it damages the trail, then people try to come up with bypasses for the damaged sections. If the bypass gets too big and wide the trail is at risk for being closed for environmental reasons. This is especially true for trails on public land.

He’d have to go out of state to get one. Older Toyota trucks in rust areas aren't the best idea. Their frames are notoriously susceptible ro rusting through. First generation Tundras and Sequoias had a frame recall for it. Tacos, 4Runner and GX's of the same era aren't much better.
