Just recently took it exploring in the snow.

I know the feeling well. My wife and I told our realtor our shopping list for our now current house was: 3 car garage, single story, and no HOA. While the search criteria limited the houses we did eventually find what we were looking for.

I’m going to buck the trend here and say I actually like the effect of having Daylight Saving Time and Standard Time. At the latitude I live at if we had PDT year round the sun would rise after 8am in the winter. If we stuck with PST the sun would rise around 430am in the summer. IMO both situations are just wrong.

Mechanics are the exception to the norm. Imagine working an office job where you have to provide the computer, the desk and everything you need to work. Then you’re responsible for the maintenance and upkeep on all those things. If you have an IT problem you have to resolve it with your own money, lamp burns out you

You can’t compare someone working a standard minimum wage job and their expenses to an Uber or Lyft driver like that. More accurately you would have to compare it as if for example a minimum wage fast food chef was required to provide their own kitchen equipment and maintain it.

One of the things I think people just don’t realize is just how bad some of the later seasons of the Clarkson, Hammond, and May run was. At some point it shifted from a car show with antics sprinkled in to an antics show with cars. I stopped watching as it became clear to me they seemed to care less and less about the

I’m not sure what you mean by back side. When I ran Thunderhill in that car there was only the East track. I’ve since ran my Miata on the West track.

Yeah my plan at the time was to upgrade to 2nd gen brakes, which would not fit under the 1st gen wheels. I still actually have the stock wheels from that car 5 years after selling it lol

I owned a 1991 3000GT VR-4 for 10 years. They really aren’t as horribly unreliable as people make them out to be. It was one of the best grand touring cars I’ve ever driven. It’d soak up highway miles at speed without protest, and could gather speed without effort. Not long after I got it I was driving down the 405 in

The reason it’s listed separately is because it’s federal law. Imagine walking into Best Buy and having the TV listed at $1000, you tell the person in the blue polo you want to take it home. They respond oh there’s an additional $100 destination fee to cover what it costs to get the TV to the store from the mfg, so

Really? That’s kinda like saying anyone who calls soda “pop” is a douche bag. Simply because you don’t understand a local colloquialism it doesn’t make anyone who uses it a douche bag.

I’ll be replacing all of that when the oil pan comes off later this week.

Oil pan rtv seems to be failing so it’s coming off. It was also leaking from the intake cam seal and the valve cover gasket was messed up.

Saw the intro picture and thought hey that looks familiar...

I’m glad I’m not the only one who says “rocket surgery.” I’ll say it and people will try to correct me as if I’ve said it in error.

I’m kinda annoyed this color is only available on these anniversary edition cars. It’s a great color combo.

Not at all, this is a case where both the COD is correct and the comment which started this chain is correct. It’s great that F&F got people legitimately into cars, but at the same time it brought about a lot of people he described. The car scene was very different before and after F&F.

I’m trying to figure out how the GTE class was the one with poor BOP when there was only a lap between the top 2 Mfg. The P class on the other hand basically had the Cadillac DPi being far and away faster than any other DPi cars and the only reason the LMP2 cars were within spitting distance was because of tire issues

I’m not sure I’d say he was a motorsports hero, but I like others was a fan of his because I enjoyed seeing a privateer team keeping up with and beating the big factory teams. Now that I know how he funded his race team it makes me sick when I remember rooting for him and his team.
