I agree the best NC is a soft top club. It’s what I think I want to replace my NB2 with.

The issue with the PRHT is you cannot put a roll hoop in the car and retain use of the top. They do typically cost more than an equivalent soft top car, but not too much. I will say this, the PRHT is a great daily driver Miata, nice an quiet top up driving.

One thing to be aware of is the NCs before 09 have known issues with their engines and are known to fail especially when used as track day cars. Based on my research the best NC is an 09+ 6spd manual with the soft top, but good luck finding one.
