As a Miata owner I agree with it being on this list, but the reasons Stef listed aren’t the reasons it should be on this list. It needs to be here because of the same reasons the WRX/STI are on this list. It’s the poor kids bro stance car.

You do realize there’s already a bolt in roll hoop that meets most every track day regulation out there for the ND Miata, and you can keep the stock soft top. Blackbird Fabworx had one ready to go within weeks of the car hitting dealerships.

Pretty much everything capable of towing 7000lbs or more gets terrible fuel economy. I was just shocked at the stupid loan terms you have to get into to make these kinds of vehicles “affordable”
