Starion/Conquest are not dsm they were all built in Japan. To be a dsm the car must be built in Normal IL and be a joint venture car between Chrysler and Mitsubishi.

Doug, I love your work, and this article is awesome. However, I don’t care how many times you tell me to follow you on Twitter it’s not going to happen. There’s a greater chance of me trading my Miata for a Hummer than me signing up for Twitter. (pun partially intended)

I’m not sure if it was even nominated but why no 3000GT end of the Japanese ‘halo’ car era.

Trim for trim MSRP was fairly similar across the Japanese halo cars except for the NSX. I pulled all the numbers from the Z32 300ZX, FD-3S RX-7, MK IV Supra and 3000GT. The 3000GT was by far the most popular sales/production wise, trim for trim, on its own. If you roll the production numbers of the mechanical twin the

Actually sales wise the 3000GT was the most popular of the Japanese 90s halo cars.

Speak for yourself, and even though there’s something nice about cruising around in a tall SUV I specifically don’t own one because without fail I prefer to get into my NB2 Miata when I’m done borrowing the cushy SUV.

I’m pretty sure his post has 5 finalists on it so he’s good...

Oreca is a French company right....

I've been seeing that picture show up in ads quite a bit the last month or so.

Number plate should be green not red...

I saw the headline and some how I immediately knew Memo Rojas was likely the cause...

71%-80% for a 2008 Subaru Legacy 2.5GT spec.B

This is one of my pet peeves.... Six hundred and fifty is actually numerically written like this 600.50 the 'and' denotes a decimal. To be technically correct it should have been written out as six hundred fifty.

The R8 is the car that transformed Le Mans from 24 hour endurance to a 24 hour sprint race. The car was so over engineered it wasn't even funny. The who car was basically designed to be reassembled using some fantastic quick disconnect and reconnect technology. They could remove damaged assembled suspension, nose rear

I'm pretty sure you got this title wrong, it should be 10 exotics you can afford to buy but will never be able to drive because you can't afford the repairs they'll need.

they all suck....

they all suck....

Sounds like you've owned a 3000GT VR-4 before....

I think that's one of the things that makes cars built for Le Mans so great. They simply cannot give up speed anywhere at Le Sarth. As a result you end up with these aerodynamically efficient cars that still produce massive downforce . I used to always love listening to open wheel racers after their first couple of

I had a 91 VR-4 with factory cloth seats it was nearly as rare as the 99 VR-4. I sold it a couple of years ago with 64k on it... I owned the car for 10 years and actually made money on it.

2004 Mazdaspeed Miata.... I mean Miata is always the answer...
