Saw a V90 R-design yesterday and I stopped dead in my tracks just to look at it. I couldn’t get over how beautiful that car was. Absolutely beautiful. I wish I could afford one.

Take a shitty job, win stupid prizes? Is that how that goes?
I got my PS4 late, only at the end of 2019. My biggest issue with the game is the limited single player content, right now I already did most of the races and challenges and I’m griding some races just to buy expensive cars. I hope that GT7 gets tons of single player stuff like GT2 and 4.
You’ll want to get into one now. They’re starting to uptick.
You may want to speed up your plans there, 996s have been on an uptick in price as of late.
Aren’t hearses the obvious choice for electrification?
I love my 2016 4Runner. The charming parts about it are largely in the chassis/suspension/4WD capability rather than the proven engine and transmission, though. I just love the way the vehicle is ready for just about anything. It has the space and capability for adventure versus trying to decide if I’m going to tear…
This. Merging safety regs with the two countries makes total sense. Once gas prices go up again, and if a manufacturer (Ford, for example) wants to import a small car, they won’t have to do anything except call up the boats.
Toyota has got to fix the fuel economy of the 4Runner/GX. 16 is abysmal! A 4Runner that gets 25mpg. Bingo!
No Toyota just needs to sell us the damn Yaris GR.
Counterpoint: Every Lotus is a weekend driver
People want simple rugged reliable trucks, that’s why the 4runner and older LX/GX and many other off road capable are on fire all year. Overlanding has increased greatly.
I always felt the Volt was the perfect setup - enough capacity to run electric for commuting / running errands around town, but no range anxiety or waiting to recharge for long trips.
haha what ?
I will once again point out that a plug in hybrid gets 90% of driving accomplished on electric, while using 20% of the battery. Using current available tech it will go much farther environmentally than making 20 million electric only cars that have 400 miles of range. While, yes you are hailing around a motor and…
I hope Mahindra sells a separate fender kit that you can just snap/bolt into place and then it’ll look pretty much like the first redesign.
honestly, I’d be ok with having the fake vents if I could get the first two boxes checked.
I own a base model and at no point have I been tempted to upgrade to an S. Sure, it’s faster, but the base model is so good that it never seems worth the price bump to go to the S. I don’t blame anyone for shelling out for the S, but to me I get so much out of the base that I never feel like I’m missing out enough to…
being poor is expensive
Interesting idea. I think the bigger problem was that the “personal coupe” or “not-really-sports-car-coupe” kind of fell out of fashion. Remember the Acura CL, Altima Coupe, Camry Coupe... all long gone.
