So what was the reason Nissan offered the RB20DET and the VG30DET in the same car during the same period of time? I can only assume this has something to do with the Pre-4WD GTR Skyline at the time.

I think they are starting to realize that its getting harder to justify significant electrification of a companies portfolio. The supply chain and customer support just isn’t there yet. Also I think the recent financial teeter-tottering in the states, has put a damper on that as well.
Don’t forget we still need to dig up all those battery minerals to create said batteries, in addition to figuring out how to recycle them.
I mean was this really a surprise? The GTR and the NSX don’t have one either. The majority of smaller sporty cars sell mostly as autoboxes as well. Does it suck? Yes. But they are in the business of selling cars. Shoulda bought more manual 86s.
I have the cheapest iPhone6 Plus and it is a painful and sometimes impossible trying to get through the larger articles with pictures and text. There are quite a few that I have to wait til I get to work or read it on my home computer. And I don’t even bothering about commenting on my phone. I can type a whole…

My stance has always been, if he is going to be president, then they need to legalize marijuana.
It sucks being a big and tall and a car enthusiast. There are lots of vehicles that I will flat out never be able to drive, or at least sit in. Miata is not an valid answer for me.
I don’t see how the newer italian job is a remake of the original. The only thing that is similar is using three minis in a red white and blue to steal money. Thats it.
I wanna say the V6 Mustang has oem 3 spoke wheels into the revised “new edge” phase.
P.P.S. The majority of us know this.
This will fail for the exact same reason the Acura TSX wagon did. It’s too expensive, plus its from a brand that does not receive alot of foot traffic. In addition to it not being memorable look at or inspiring to drive.
I am some what surprised they didn’t offer it as an option on the Trail Edition/TRD Off Road trim after the FJ Cruiser was sent out to pasture. The FJ Cruiser had an optional 6-speed and was build off of the Land Cruiser Prado/4Runner architecture.
There really is no advantages to the GX over the 4Runner Limited other than the V8 (which takes premium, tank is the same size on both). Plus then your stuck with a rear swing door that swings to the wrong side.
I concur

Its definitely going to be an up hill climb. The only name recognition Mitsubishi had basically the past two decades was the Lancer Evo. And that is an enthusiast car that mostly only enthusiast know about. Be sides that, the only other demographic thats even heard of them is in their 30's. They’d probably need an…
I think the next big movement forward for the ice engine is the cam less design running Mazda’s diesel like gas engine.
I don’t think it failure is the right term here. I do agree with Raphael, but I dont think his rational will make the car sucessful. I do feel as though the Supra will be more of a bigger, more powerful and comfortable gt86. Which sounds good, but I think there will be at least one key issue that people will bitch…
