I think it's also worth noting that I do almost all of these things when my phone is in my damned pocket.
What I'm saying is that a "campaign" is typically a rigid foundation. A firm series of tasks and stages you complete in order to "beat" a game.
Since there's no real "campaign mode" in Civ, my suggestion is to use th tutorial to indicate you're new to Civ altogether, and not just Civ:BE.
I agree Endless Legend is a very fun game. I play it when I'm in a bit of a fantasy world mood.
If you think Civ games are complex... NEVER play anything from Paradox Interactive. That shite is =INSANE=!
From the many reviews online and my own playtime so far I get the distinct impression that Civ:BE is a setup, and the next collection of expansions are perhaps set to change how we see the game-play and its mechanics.
Next gen becomes current gen at a specific saturation point or age of release, whichever value is met first.

We're at about the same cost, though I've bought a couple fewer games digitally. I didn't include several I have in my total.
I happen to have a WiiU and love it. Of course, it's only for first party games like Smash Bros, Mario Kart and Super Mario 3D world. It's actually a great system if you give it a chance.

Not unlike many reactions to Star Trek Deep Space Nine.
Here in the US lowest bid is sometimes required by law to be the one taken.
+1 for the gif.
