If I want to hurt a kids feelings I'll go down to the elementary school and yell and them like I always do.

Did he also said "make sure you find a once-in-a-generation talent who is a perfect fit for the role to play him"? :P

Eh, I think Elba can do "stoic intensity" as well as anyone and I have to admit I kind of like not just casting the tall imposing black man as the bad guy.

Yeah, I mean, I'm glad Mads is getting paid and all, but boy was he wasted in Dr. Strange and Rogue One (both of which I generally liked, but he just had almost nothing to do – a little more in Rogue One, but still).

We watching the same Tom Cruise? Those are pretty much the *only* things he's capable of expressing. What do you think his talents are? Or do you somehow think he's become one of the most successful actors in history because he has good hair?

Sure, yes, fuck that guy, but normalizing the guy who is about to be the most powerful man in the world is different than normalizing a guy who created a toxic environment and is now attempting to show contrition. I'm not running out and buying a Glenn Beck T-shirt, but I think giving him a place to say "I kind of

Wait is this going to be a service you pay for and then see ads? Because frankly screw them if so.

I'm be down with Tea Leoni.

To be fair, only X-Files and Heroes were on major network TV, and Heroes didn't last long despite having a devoted following. It would be great if CBS had something like FX to put these kinds of shows on where they don't have to be immediately massively popular or get yanked.

LET ME GRASP AT MY STRAWS YOU MONSTER.

Yep. All of it. Bowie and Prince dying. President Trump. All of it. I regret nothing. Lol.

I've literally just laid out a better "best case scenario" than that, which you described as "optimistic", which is, you know, what a "best case scenario" is. While what you say about Trump re: ideas is true, he also doesn't like to be seen as letting people tell him what to do, so I could certainly see him getting in

Just type that exact phrase into google

I watched a couple episodes of 'Why' and frankly it just seemed like Hannibal didn't really want to be there and didn't know what he wanted the show to be. Disappointing because I think he is funny, but seemed pretty understandable why it was cancelled.

Oh is that why? Bummer. My wife and I both enjoyed that show.

Their policy goals are not even close to those of who I would consider establishment republicans like Ryan and McConnell. Gingrich certainly has lots of DC ties, but I'd put him solidly in the "alt-right/Trump" wing of the party.

God am I sick to death of 'SJW' being thrown around as an insult (not by you, just spouting off). It basically seems to mean "a non-minority who attempts to understand and acknowledge that their ethnicity/gender may actually have given them some advantage." This is a good thing, right? Can we take that term back

Great, now as a fat(ish) white guy I feel like I need to wear Hilary shirts around everywhere to avoid confusion.

Or go listen to the last couple episodes of Lexicon Valley and realize that rule is arbitrary.

I've said "Lol" out loud for years…
