Mostly it's just non-sensical. Unless funhouse mirrors make you look more like Indiana Jones.

First season was very good. Second one wasn't bad either. From there it was…uneven at best before really going over a cliff for most of the last 2-3 seasons.

That's like my word for word review of the guy who played the baddie general in Avatar.

So, umm, the ratings (at least in theory) aren't *for* you. They are to give parents some kind of idea what it would be appropriate for their kids to see. They admittedly do a shit job of this and people ignore them (I was pretty stunned by how many families with young kids were watching Deadpool with me).

Eh, Ringu was all about atmosphere and I thought the American remake of that was better. Could be good. Could be shit.

Yiddish Policeman's Union by Michael Chabon got me to start drinking my coffee black. Not entirely sure why (I mean, the characters in it made a point of drinking their coffee black, so obviously there's a connection).
