1) I’m not sure how much/whether flavor additives would alter the performance of the polish, but scent additives don’t seem to affect it much (Revlon has a line of scented polishes, and I have some scented ones from Dior and Missha.) However, I think frequent spit-baths WOULD affect performance and longevity.
