So the aim is to as bad as the thing you don't like?

What about if we want films that aren't heavy handed at all, is that still OK?

It's lovely. Very British in a really positive way.

We're still talking about the new Seth Rogen movie, right?

I understood your position; you're saying that kids screaming is an overused device. Fine, I guess I agree with that in general. You would, however, realise why that position is *dumb* in the context of this film if you'd seen or understood it (whichever it is). They simply don't use the kid screaming as a device in

>hanging out

The movie wouldn't work it it wasn't believable that *his mother* wanted to strangle him. The entire point is that the kid is shrill and unlikable. Are you sure you didn't just watch the trailer?

So you'd prefer if he was annoying… in a less annoying way?

Dude, the point is that he's annoying. The actual theme of the movie is: what if you hated your own kid?

>I hate to be one of those people, but I really think this is a more adult horror movie that takes a degree of maturity to fully appreciate.

*I MEAN SPOILERS, I GUESS* The ending is weird because it's a little underwhelming, but also perfect in terms of what is being metaphorically said about the lead character's journey through grief.

I dunno, then central premise *SPOILERS* that the park has been a success for years, and that people are now apathetic about the idea of seeing live dinosaurs is pretty clever. Also: great cast, interesting non-hack director, co-writer with an upcoming Pixar credit. I'm prepared to withhold judgement at this stage.

Don't get me wrong, I think it's extremely likely that he did at least the majority of this shit. That said, I'm prepared to entertain the slim possibility that in a population of 300m, there might exist 15 people who would say that things like this have happened to them for no sane reason at all. I think it's far

In fairness, the view on Bush seemed to be more that he was an empty nothing, coasting on name recognition, and that shady fucks behind the scenes were using him to do evil (or at least morally bankrupt stuff). Complementary notions, really.

Big fan of the whole snark thing, but their last album was also pretty good; according to, y'know, the AV Club:

This should be, I dunno, interesting? Corden's a good comedy writer (Gavin & Stacey is great, fuck all y'all), and a fair actor. I've never been impressed with him off the cuff though, which seems to be the essential skill of late night. I like the guy, and I hope it goes well for him but… I just don't know. It feels

Looking forward to hearing Katt explain how this is the Illuminati's fault somehow.

I was on board pretty much from the start but by 2:27 I was a fan of this.

Well if it's like beer, we'll have some!

Yeah, he has a few funny bits but he's very outclassed by the other two. Most noticeable when they're summoning The Singing Swordsman.
