Because he's one of those awful *recent* musicians that they have nowadays. How can he hope to play a musician from a long time ago? (aside from that he's actually a pretty good actor, resembles Hendrix enough to pull it off and is clearly passionate and knowledgeable about the source material)

>Andre 3000 is the right choice to play Jimi Hendrix to the same degree that Andre the Giant would have been perfect for a Jimmy Stewart biopic.

I dunno, I kind of expected a downbeat ending because it was dramatically easier to pull off. Like with Seven, it seemed likely that some surprising stuff would happen but that they'd ultimately win, so it was shocking when they basically didn't. It took ingenuity and effort on the part of the writer for the ending of

Couldn't disagree more. Admittedly a lot of what's impressive about 127 Hours is watching the high wire act of Boyle' sustaining the premise over 90 mins but he very much manages it. I agree there's not much character development, but there's not supposed to be. It's a character study, and a really successful one.

Yes I imagine that frequently happens to the attractive and successful James Franco. One can only imagine the disgust and regret felt by his sexual partners once they remember the lack of respect held for him by some of the people on the internet.

Oh no you di'n't just make a perfectly reasonable statement about the talented and intelligent Amanda Palmer, on a website that's decided it hates her for some reason!

Which is cool and all, but it seems like this would have been a good time to not be wasted.

Yeah I get that, but when people are already talking shit about your state of mental well-being, it seems like weird decision to get blitzed and go on Letterman, is all I'm saying.

He didn't look great there. A bit bleary-eyed and off his game (for whatever reason) to be going on Letterman. I dunno, it's difficult not to worry about the guy a little bit.

Eh, it's good that we have both. Android is the most innovative platform now, but iOS laid a huge amount of the groundwork. It's a good thing that they take features from each other, and we'd all be worse off if there was only one major platform.

The Daily Mail is where you go when you want to love nothing.

That's not really the point with Lindsay Lohan. The point is that she should have had a way better career than this. She's not an amazing actor, but then neither are a lot of people who rode a wave of early success to a decent long term career. I would say she's about on a level with Cameron Diaz - possibly even Julia

TEN YEARS. TEN. TENNNN YEEEEAAARS. TEN YEARS.

Nah. Petrol turns to varnish over time. Doc would have drained the car of fluids before stashing it, otherwise it'd have been fucked by 1955. Admittedly it wouldn't have hurt them to throw a line in there about it, but it totally makes sense.
